Privacy policy

CeylonAdavi lets you build websites and web apps by describing them. This policy explains what we collect when you use CeylonAdavi, why, and the choices you have. Questions: write to hello@ceylonadavi.com.

What we collect

• Account details: your name and email address, and your password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from them, never your password.
• Your projects: what you write to the AI, files you attach, and the code, text and images of the apps it builds for you.
• Data in your apps: the databases, uploaded files and visitor accounts of apps you build and publish. You control this data; we store it for you.
• Usage and billing: the credits you use, your plan, payments you make and their references.
• Technical data: your IP address (used once at sign-up to find your country, which sets your currency and prices), browser type, and error reports that help us fix problems.

How we use it

• To run CeylonAdavi: build, preview, host and publish your apps.
• To manage your account, credits, plan and payments.
• To keep CeylonAdavi secure, prevent abuse (such as repeated free accounts) and fix errors.
• To contact you about your account, payments and important changes.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Services that process data for us

• Anthropic (the AI that builds your apps) receives your requests, attachments and the relevant code to generate changes. It does not use them to train its models.
• Contabo (our servers, in the European Union) stores your account, projects and published apps.
• Google and GitHub, only if you choose to sign in with them, or connect GitHub to export your code.
• Payment providers, when you pay, to process the payment.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep CeylonAdavi secure. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep data

We keep your account and projects while your account exists. When you delete a project, its files and app data are deleted; backups are removed within 14 days. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

• See, export or delete your projects at any time.
• Ask us for a copy of your personal data, to correct it, or to delete your account by writing to hello@ceylonadavi.com.

We follow Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act and respect the rights given by other privacy laws, such as the GDPR, where they apply to you.

Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, secrets you add to your apps are stored encrypted, and the code the AI generates runs isolated from our systems.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date above and tell you about important changes by email or in CeylonAdavi.
